• Finished in striking overall Ferrari Red with the famous Prancing Horse (Cavallino Rampante) emblem on the intake area, wearing the fuselage number 4-27.

2. RF-104G «Strega Fighter» (The Witch)

• 28° Gruppo, 3° Stormo (28th Squadron, 3rd Wing), based at Villafranca Air Base, Italy.  

• Serial number MM6579 (3-42). Features a custom matte black/dark grey night-sky scheme covered in stars with a cartoon witch on a broomstick painted over the tail fin to commemorate a reconnaissance meeting in November 1989.  

3. F-104S ASA "The Last Starfighter"

• 21° Gruppo, 53° Stormo (21st Tiger Squadron, 53rd Wing), based at Cameri Air Base, Italy.  

• Serial number MM6716 (53-21). Special "Tiger Meet 1996" commemorative scheme flown at Beja, Portugal. It features a blue tail/nose over a silver metallic body, with an elaborate tiger graphic painted to look like it is bursting through the fuselage skin.
